Agricultural Business students study accounting, finance, safety, commodity markets, sales, economics, entrepreneurship, farm and industry management, agronomy, animal science and precision farming to prepare for careers in the agricultural industry.
The required internship will introduce you to great industry contacts, which could lead to a full-time position after graduation. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore international agricultural through a study abroad.
海角破解版 offers more than $3 million in scholarships for students each year!
海角破解版 ag students planning to transfer to Iowa State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are eligible to apply for the Leonard and Evelyn Dolezal Scholarship Program. This scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen from Linn, Clayton, Fayette and Johnson counties, and transfer students, particularly those from 海角破解版. If a student is not from one of the specified counties, they will become eligible as a 海角破解版 transfer student.
Graduates of the Agricultural Business program will be able to:
- Construct fundamental business documents, including financial statements.
- Integrate fundamental agribusiness principles and analysis techniques to make management decisions at all levels of business activities.
- Demonstrate basic technology that applies to Agricultural businesses.
- Demonstrate an understanding of principles and strategies for agribusiness marketing.
- Demonstrate professional interpersonal interactions.
A one-hour program conference is required prior to acceptance to the program. You'll learn more about the program, specific admissions requirements, and have the opportunity to have questions answered by program faculty and staff.

Students in 海角破解版's Agriculture Business program, as well as those pursuing the Agriculture Business Diploma, Agribusiness Industry Management Certificate, Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Certificate, and/or Agribusiness Farm Management Certificate, are encouraged to join the 海角破解版 chapter of the (PAS), a student-led organization that allows students to build and sharpen their skills so that they are ready for the workplace.
PAS is a recognized member of the (NCC-CTSO). CTSOs are co-curricular groups that help students in career and technical education programs further their knowledge and skills by participating in activities, events, and competitions.
